Trendy Watch Designs or Watch Design Disasters? You Decide!

Is there such a thing as a trendy watch or a watch design disaster? In our opinion, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What is one person's trash is another person's treasure, and watches (generally) prove that theory. Here are some of our treasures!

Take the TechnoMarine Quartz Hummer Men's Watch – with it's Swiss Quartz Movement and Analogue Display – its obviously a top of the range watch, but the black rubber strap and luminous green markers and luminous silver tone hands will have watch aficionados careful choosing which side of the fence they will sit – it's a watch that you either love or hate. It is water resistant up to 100 meters and is perfect for the outdoorsy type of guy, but might not look the part when paired with a business suit.

These Dolce & Gabbana Quartz Women's Watch's aren't massively expensive but they are very different in their own ways. To the left you have a black stainless steel bracelet with black dial – its a really unusual strap filled with black rhinestones To the right you have a black stainless steel bracelet and silver tone dial - the dial on this watch is the hook – its etched but looks exactly like diamante . This Orange beauty is a lot of fun, a huge statement, and the last thing you might expect of a Swiss Military Watch. The Navy Seals ll Chronograph Square Men's Watch also comes in Yellow, Blue and Black and has a rubber strap with matching colored dial. Luminous silver tone markers, white hands and red second hands (used for Chronograph) make these watches even more striking. Its more than a bit of fun though – with 3 chronograph sub dials (60 secs for watch, 30 mins and 12 hours for Chronograph) and water resistant to 100 meters - its a serous piece of kit!

Wrapping up this unusual collection of watches is the Guess Quartz Women's Watch with leather strap. Its girlie and feminine and appeals to all age groups – very clever for a statement watch. The stainless steel bezel is encrusted with crystals and it's water resistant to 30 meters.
